February is Black History Month. This week, we’re showcasing outstanding students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in Georgia. HBCUs have been a crucial component of Black history for more than 180 years. Today, there are 101 HBCUs across the country and 10 in Georgia.
Today’s featured professor is Dr. Patrice White, a College of Education professor at Savannah State University. Dr. White was praised for going above and beyond for all of her students. She also cares deeply about the College of Education and Savannah State.
Thank you, Dr. White, for being an outstanding professor and representing Savannah State proudly.
