Georgia Tech holds its annual spring commencement ceremonies from May 2nd-4th at McCamish Pavilion. Among the graduates that will receive their Georgia Tech degrees throughout this spring’s five commencement ceremonies are 70+ student-athletes.
Georgia Tech student-athletes compiled a 92% NCAA Graduation Success Rate in 2022-23, setting a new record for Tech athletics for the third straight year. Georgia Tech’s 92% NCAA GSR is higher than the national average of 90%, and 10 of the Yellow Jackets’ 13 sports programs—women’s basketball, men’s cross country/track and field, women’s cross country/track and field, football, golf, softball, men’s swimming and diving, women’s swimming and diving, men’s tennis and volleyball—have individual team GSRs that are at or above than the national average in their respective sports.
Leading the way are women’s basketball, golf, softball, men’s tennis, and volleyball, which all boasted perfect 100% GSRs in 2022-23.
