Georgia’s Own 90: Mandy Russo

In honor of our 90th anniversary, we’re recognizing 90 Georgians who have made their mark on our incredible state. Today, on the Sign is one winner of our school supply contest, Thomasville High School teacher Mandy Russo.

Mandy teaches biology, AP chemistry, and AP physics. She’s been a teacher for 12 years. As a science teacher, Mandy often pays for the extra supplies needed out of her pocket. She truly cares about her students’ successes and keeps snacks for her students who miss breakfast or are hungry so they can concentrate.
